Maxim Moris is CEO and co-founder of Cicada, a market making firm working with 60+ active clients across CEX and DEX markets.
He took over Cicada's market making business in 2024 and leads its trading, client, and regulatory operations from Dubai.
Max started in sports management and marketing in 1999 and spent over two decades in the industry.
He entered crypto in 2017 and moved into market making six years ago, and has since worked with more than 1000 tokens, pre-TGE listing scenarios, exchange listings, marketing and long-running liquidity programs.
Most situations a founder brings to Cicada he has already seen resolve, several dozen times. Max reviews every inbound request and is involved in every listing; each client has a direct line to him.
Cicada runs $100M+ in AUM with a team of 100+ developers, quants and traders, on infrastructure built in-house in C++ covering HFT and quant strategies, with a dedicated trading team per client. In 2026, he partnered with Zain Khan to solve the AI visibility problem and is now also serving as the co-founder of Promptraise.
